2 New Restaurants to Open in Northbrook This Year
Village diners will be introduced to 'Lucky Fish' and 'Granite City Food and Brewery' in 2016.

NORTHBROOK, IL - Diners in Northbrook will have at least two new options beginning this year.
Both Lucky Fish and Granite City Food and Brewery have announced plans to open restaurants in the village in 2016, according to Illinois Business Daily.
Lucky Fish will open in downtown Northbrook at a venue that will seat 80. Owner Steven Geffen - a Northbrook resident - will model the restaurant off his other Lucky Fish location in Highwood. The Northbrook location - tentatively set to open in June - will also feature an outdoor patio that can seat up to 25-30 guests during warm weather.

It will be part of the 'Once Upon Family of Restaurants' that offers several options on the North Shore.
Granite City Food and Brewery will open in the Willow Festival Shopping Center at the former site of the Zapatista restaurant. It will feature an on-site brewery similar to one at other Illinois Granite City locations in Schaumburg, Orland Park, Naperville, Rockford and East Peoria.

The restaurant will seat up to 280 guests once renovations are complete. Expect an early autumn opening.
