3 Injured in Lake Cook Road Crash
Three cars were involved in the Monday morning wreck.
A three-car accident on Lake Cook Road near the Tri-State Tollway near Northbrook injured three people, all of whom were hospitalized.
An injured person in each of the three cars was taken to the hospital, but one driver needed no medical treatment after the wreck, which occurred shortly after 9 a.m. according to the Northbrook Star.
One victim had to be extricated from a vehicle, and first responders needed to peel off the roof of the car. The crash occurred in the eastbound lanes of the roadway in an unincorporated area. Several emergency response departments, including the Northbrook Fire Department, responded.
