7 Exposed to Pepper Spray at Northbrook Store

NORTHBROOK, IL - Two people were hospitalized and five others evaluated by Northbrook fire personnel Monday after they were exposed to an “accidental release of pepper spray” at a store in the 400 block of Lake Cook Road, according to a village news release.

Crews arrived around 1:30 p.m. and evacuated the store before ventilating it. Employees were allowed back inside within an hour.
