Accident Lands Charges for Northbrook Man
The 33-year-old allegedly had a suspended driver's license and did not reduce speed to avoid the accident.
A car accident last weekend at Dundee Road and Western Avenue in Northbrook resulted in a driving while suspended charge for a local man.
According to a police report, Michael J. Sherman, 33, of the 1400 block of Sycamore was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving while license suspended at 11:19 p.m. on September 5 after officers responded to an auto accident in the area.
Police learned Sherman had a suspended Illinois driver’s license upon an investigation of the accident.
