The Yellowstone Park Foundation (“YPF”), the official fundraising partner of Yellowstone National Park, has received a new AmpliVox Mity-Meg Megaphone and BeltBlaster Pro Waistband Amplifier to support its events. AmpliVox donated the sound equipment as part of its ongoing Community Contribution Club program, an initiative to support worthy organizations with product donations that fill specific needs.

YPF works in cooperation with the National Park Service to fund projects and programs that protect, preserve, and enhance the natural and cultural resources of the park. Since its inception in 1996, the foundation has raised over $100 million for more than 325 Yellowstone projects. YPF funds support rangers as they educate the public about safe interactions with wildlife, manage “bear jams” and other traffic issues, and inspire youth involvement through Junior Rangers, Young Scientists, and Wildlife Olympics programs. YPF is also committed to restorative construction at the Park’s iconic entrance, the Roosevelt Arch National Historic Landmark.

AmpliVox was contacted by YPF in connection with a major fundraising event, the third annual Old Faithful Open Golf Tournament and Auction, held at the Black Bull Golf Community in Bozeman, Montana on July 22. The convenient and versatile Mity-Meg and BeltBlaster Pro helped organizers direct players and spectators, and provide effective communication for many years of successful events. Each of these highly portable sound products deliver reliable amplification with simple, easy to use controls.

“AmpliVox’s Mity-Meg and BeltBlaster will be great tools for the Yellowstone Foundation’s fundraisers and other programs,” notes Don Roth, AmpliVox CEO. “The foundation does exceptional work in support of Yellowstone’s unique environmental and historical value. We are excited to be part of the preservation of this national treasure.”
