Amtrak Train Strikes Vehicle In Northbrook
No one was hurt, but Amtrak and Metra trains were delayed Friday night when a train hit an empty vehicle.

NORTHBROOK, IL — An empty vehicle was hit by an Amtrak train in Northbrook Friday night. No one was hurt by the collision, which took place shortly before 7 p.m. near Dundee Road, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
The Amtrak train that hit the vehicle was delayed for more than an hour, and Metra trains were delayed 30-50 minutes.
