Funky Junque Accessories Celebrates a Decade of Stylish Success

Funky Junque, a Chicagoland based fashion accessory wholesaler, proudly celebrates its 10th anniversary. Founded by Linda Wolff in 2001, Funky Junque credits its success to its devoted family and friends, as well as its loyal group of retailers nationwide.

After having been one of the top representatives of children’s apparel in the US for over two decades, Linda noticed many of her retail customers were looking to increase the sales of accessory products. Seeing that there were no companies that matched Linda’s vision of what a great accessory company should be, she decided she could better serve her customers by developing her own line of accessories, Funky Junque. In 2004, Linda met David Dermer, a CPA with a strong diverse background in finance, distribution, and marketing and decided to go into the business as partners to create a world class accessory company.

Funky Junque’s achievements over the last decade are evident through the company’s constant growth and development. Funky Junque began out of a small showroom in Chicago’s Merchandise Mart and has since expanded to its 3,500 square-foot headquarters in Northbrook, IL and a satellite showroom in Dallas, TX. In addition, Funky Junque’s sales have grown each year since 2001, in spite of the nation’s economic climate.

In 2005, Funky Junque started exhibiting at major national women’s apparel and accessory shows, and began to mature with a focus on high fashion, high quality accessories, while remaining value priced. Shortly after, celebrity favorite boutique Fred Segal began selling Funky Junque accessories and continues to do so today.
