Arrests Made In Robbery, Assault In Northbrook: Police
The Northbrook Police Department announced four teens have been arrested in connection with a May 2 robbery and assault.

NORTHBROOK, IL — Four men have been arrested and charged with robbery in connection with an incident that occurred Saturday night, May 2, in Northbrook. According to the Northbrook Police Department, Christian Adams, 18, of Glenview; Tyler Szerlong, 18, of Glenview; William Walker, 19, of Chicago; and Shalom Moon, 18, of Highland Park; were arrested in Glenview. The victim was also assaulted during the incident.
According to police, the victim, from Maywood, Illinois, arranged to meet a subject in the 2900 block of Harbor Lane in Northbrook to sell THC products. When meeting the subject, the victim told police they were approached by four male subjects and a struggle ensued. The victim said they were struck numerous times, causing a laceration to the head. The victim was not seriously injured and declined transport to the hospital.
The subjects were alleged to then remove the victim’s backpack and property from their car and fled the area in a 2007 green Toyota. An emergency message was put out and Glenview officers located the offending vehicle and four suspects.

The four men are scheduled to appear in bond court Monday, May 4.
