Autumnfest is September 26 in Northbrook

Magic, music, games and a "pumpkin-crushing dinosaur" will woo the crowd at Meadowhill Park this year.

Autumnfest in Northbrook this year will be held on Saturday, September 26 from 2-6 p.m.

The 7th annual free festival returns to Meadowhill Park with “entertainment and activities for all ages,” according to the Northbrook Park District.

“I am really looking forward to another great Autumnfest,” said Tiffany Greene, a Leisure Services Supervisor with the Northbrook Park District. “We all love seeing our local families come out and enjoy this fall tradition that the Northbrook Park District has created.”

Chicago magician Jaime Aponte, also known as J-Magic and Istvan and His Imaginary Band will provide entertainment.

A petting zoo, hayride, games, face painting, inflatables, bonfire with s’mores and hot apple cider will also be part of Autumnfest. Gary, the pumpkin-crushing “dinosaur” will return, along with pumpkin chuckin’, pumpkin pitch, golf games and a fall sports challenge.
