Baby Formula, Diapers, Red Bull Stolen from Waukegan Rd. Store

NORTHBROOK, IL - Police in Northbrook are investigating a Thursday afternoon incident in which four people made off with about $300 worth of merchandise from a store on Waukegan Road.

According to a report, just before 3 p.m. a manager of the business in the 1000 block of Waukegan Road observed one of the alleged thieves placing items such as diapers, baby formula and Red Bull under his jacket. As the manager approached the man, all four fled after dropping some of the items.

They left the parking lot in a green minivan without a front license plate.

Police would not initially identify the store or provide a description of the offenders.
