Bank Accounts Opened in Dead Relative's Name

One woman was arrested on a warrant after calling police on an unrelated theft case.

The following information is from the Northbrook Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

BURGLARY

A victim in the 2800 block of Dundee Road related that offenders entered her residence and removed money and jewelry at some point between 7:45 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. on April 16. Neither the officers nor the victim were able to determine the point of entry into the house. There were no signs of force to the doors or windows.

WARRANT FOR ASSAULT

Patrick Sean Wilson, 26, Riverdale was charged with having an outstanding warrant for assault out of Kentucky during a traffic stop at Dundee and Waukegan roads at 1:39 p.m. on April 17. The US Marshalls later arrived to take custody of Wilson.

THEFT

A victim in the 1400 block of Shermer Road reported at 7:48 p.m. on April 16 that an offender cut the lock and removed his $700 Dawes bicycle that was secured to a fence facing the railroad tracks.

THEFT

A victim in the 600 block of Skokie Highway reported at 10:11 p.m. on April 16 that while she was dining she believes someone removed her wallet from her jacket pocket. The jacket was placed over the back of her chair. The victim’s wallet was black and contained various cards, checks and currency.

REVOKED DRIVER’S LICENSE

Terry A. Max, 52, Highland Park was stopped in the 1200 block of Crestwood at 7:04 p.m. on April 18 and charged with driving while license revoked, speeding and having no insurance.

IDENTITY THEFT

A woman reported at 1:37 p.m. on April 20 she discovered that several fraudulent accounts were opened in the name of her deceased parent.

WARRANT SERVICE

Latonya D. Heard, 40, Darien was arrested on an outstanding Bond Forfeiture Warrant out ouf Du Page County at 11 a.m. on April 22 in the 1500 block of Lake Cook Road after making a theft report to police.
