The club, founded in 1965, raises funds through a variety of events including the annual family-tradition Rubber Ducky Race. These funds provide grants and scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,500 – totaling about $42,000 – and are awarded to a number of local non-profit organizations and scholarships.

The Rotary Club of Northbrook believes in “Service Above Self” and focuses its efforts to help fund annual community grants programs, scholarships, and global initiatives that support that mission. Through ongoing support from the community, Rotary has been able to give thousands of dollars to support these efforts as well as to support the Ukraine crisis.
