'70 Chicagoland Rock Concerts - A Portal to Rock 'n' Roll History

Event Details

Northbrook Public Library, 1201 Cedar Ln, Northbrook, IL, 60062

Jim Summaria and Mark Plotnick are passionate mavens of classic rock era music and acts. They have co-authored two books on the subject and have been VIP guests of the Rock and Roll Museum in Cleveland, OH.

The men co-host "That Rock Show" that airs weekly for 90 minutes from the Illinois Rock and Roll Museum. They also write concert and album reviews for several publications that include photographs taken by Jim Summaria, a veteran rock concert photographer who has been photographing acts since the early 1970s.

With their knowledge of rock 'n' roll and a visual PowerPoint presentation, attendees will access a portal to rock 'n' roll history and learn about Summaria's experiences as a professional photographer whose photos have been requested by prestigious institutions and organizations, media outlets, documentaries, books, magazines and rock 'n roll acts for CD and album graphics.

If you love classic rock era music, want to understand why this was rock's most prolific era, or are simply interested in photography, this is a presentation you don't want to miss.
