Chamber Wants Village to Opt Out of Minimum Wage Law
Northbrook business leader says planned raises in minimum wage give advantage to Lake County.

NORTHBROOK, IL - The Northbrook Chamber of Commerce wants the village to opt out of the Cook County Minimum Wage law that pushes the wage from $8.25 an hour to $10 an hour come July.
The Northbrook Star reported Chamber President Tensley Garris stating the “package of regulations” that include a raising the rage $1 an every every summer until it is at $13 “creates an unfair advantage” to Lake County.
