Child Found Unresponsive In Backyard Swimming Pool: Northbrook Police

NORTHBROOK, IL — A young child was found unresponsive in a backyard in-ground swimming pool Sunday in the 3500 block of Dauphine Avenue. According to police, the child was rushed to an area hospital in serious condition.

The Northbrook police and fire departments responded to the scene at around 4:35 p.m. Life-saving measures were administered on the scene before the child was taken to the hospital. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
