Christmas Eve Shopper's Wallet Stolen: Cops
Also, a drone worth more than a grand was stolen from a Northbrook Court store.

RETAIL THEFT
Tatyana B. Koval, 58, Glenview was charged with retail theft at 5:43 p.m. on Dec. 25 in the 1-100 block of Skokie Hwy. The store loss prevention agent observed the defendant removed a small jar of cosmetic from the display shelf and place it in her purse. The defendant removed the security tag from the merchandise and exited the store with the $69.99 in merchandise. She was stopped after passing the last point of purchase by store security.

THEFT
A complainant in the 1500 block of Lake Cook Rd. reported when she returned home from shopping on Dec. 24 discovered her leather wallet was missing. She contacted Northbrook Court security to see if the wallet had been turned in to them but it had not. In notifying her credit card companies to cancel the cards she was informed that two purchases had been made on one of her credit cards without her authority.

THEFT
On Dec. 29, the complainant, an employee of a business in the 2300 block of Shermer Rd., reported discovering that the license plates on three of the company’s trailers had been stolen. The theft is believed to have occurred sometime within the last two weeks.
RETAIL THEFT
A store loss prevention manager in the 1500 block of Lake Cook Rd. on Dec. 20 reported that a drone valued at $1,259 was stolen from a display counter in the store. Investigators are reviewing store security video.
