Closed Panera Bread in Winnetka To Open Again in Northbrook

The Panera Bread location that just closed its doors over Memorial Day weekend will eventually resurface in Northbrook.

According to a company statement, the bakery-cafe location at 940 Green Bay Rd. in Winnetka closed on May 24 with the expiration of a lease, but will re-open at the intersection of Skokie Boulevard and Dundee Road in Northbrook this fall.

“In this new space we will be able to provide our customers a larger updated dining room, additional parking, Panera 2.0 features and a drive thru for convenience,” the statement reads. “We’ll provide opportunities for all associates and managers who wish to continue with Panera at neighboring bakery-cafes until we open this new location.”
