Carsello receives honor at Carthage College

Samantha Carsello, of Northbrook, has been inducted into the National Society of Leadership & Success. To achieve official induction, members attended Orientation, Leadership Training Day, three Speaker Broadcasts, and three Success Networking Team meetings.

Dankanich named winner of University of Iowa innovation challenge

Michael Dankanich, of Northbrook, was one of 42 current students and alumni of the University of Iowa to be awarded some of the more than $159,000 and $36,000 in funding to be distributed to winners in the second phase of the Iowa Innovation Challenge.

Sponsored by the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center (Iowa JPEC) with parters the UI Office of the Vice President for Research, University of Iowa Research Foundation, and UI Ventures and staged in early April, the Iowa Innovation Challenge supports innovation across the UI campus an is open to all UI faculty, staff, students, and incubator startups.

Dankanich won $3,500 for finishing 1st in the Best Lifestyle Business for FestPlug. He is an open major.

Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2019-20 academic year. Bonebrake named to dean's list at University of Utah

Matthew Bonebrake, of Northbrook, was named to the University of Utah's Spring 2020 Dean's List. Bonebrake's major is listed as Undeclared.

Bonebrake was among more than 7,500 students named to the Spring 2020 Dean's List. To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher in at least 12 graded credit hours during any one term.

Litch makes Chancellor's Honor Roll at University of Mississippi

Emma Beatrice Litch, of Northbrook, was recently named to the University of Mississippi's Spring 2020 Honor Roll lists. Litch was named to the Chancellor's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00.
