Local Student Named To Bryant University's Fall 2023 President's List

Bryant University is pleased to recognize Brayden Roy, of Northbrook, for academic excellence by being named to the Fall 2023 President's List. The President's List is an academic distinction reserved for Bryant's highest achievers who earn a GPA of 4.0 for at least 12 semester hours of work.

MacDonald Helps Bring 'Pippin' To Stage At Baldwin Wallace University

Kyle MacDonald, of Northbrook, was part of the cast and crew from Baldwin Wallace University that, under the direction of Nathan Henry, produced Stephen Schwartz's "Pippin," a story of a young prince looking for passion, fulfillment and meaning in his life. MacDonald, a graduate of Glenbrook North High School majoring in music theatre, was a member of the male presenting ensemble in the co-production of the BW Music Theatre program, Department of Theatre & Dance, and Arts Management & Entrepreneurship program.

Students Participate In University of Iowa's Dance Marathon 2024

More than 1,100 current University of Iowa students participated in the 30th annual student-led Dance Marathon, generating more than $1.4 million for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. Dance Marathon has generated more than $35.8 million in its history. The final tally raised by the students was $1,454,929, a total which pushed the amount of support generated by Dance Marathon over the course of its 30-year history to more than $35 million. Ramanathan Makes Dean's List At RIT

Sonali Ramanathan, of Northbrook, was named to the Dean's List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the fall semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. Ramanathan is in the graphic design program.

Tufts University recently announced the dean's list for the Fall 2023 semester. Dean's list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater. Local Northbrook students include:
