Oh Named To Clark University's Fall 2025 Dean's List
Hannah Y. Oh, of Northbrook, was named to first honors on the Clark University Dean's List. This selection marks outstanding academic achievement during the Fall 2025 semester. Students must have a GPA of 3.8 or above for first honors or a GPA between 3.50 and 3.79 for second honors.

Dean's, President's Lists Students Named for UA Fall 2025 Term
A total of 15,388 students enrolled during Fall Semester 2025 at The University of Alabama were named to the dean's list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president's list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). These driven students are making waves across UA's more than 70 undergraduate programs and 12 colleges and schools. Local students from Northbrook include:
- Henry Burnson was named to the President's List.
- Ellie Downey was named to the President's List.
- Sydney Wolff was named to the President's List.
- Kristin Zick was named to the President's List.

Carthage College students venture across the globe for J-Term study tour!
During Carthage College's 2026 J-Term, Gabriella Carr, from Northbrook, traveled as part of the course Service Learning in Communities. J-Term, or January Term, is a special month-long period of study in which Carthage students explore subjects outside their majors or minors, discover new interests, and test their creativity through classes held around the world. More than 275 Carthage students participated in one of 14 study tours offered in January.

Lucas Smalec Named To MSOE Dean's List For Fall Semester 2025.
Lucas Smalec, from Northbrook, was named to the Milwaukee School of Engineering's Dean's List for the 2025 Fall Semester. Smalec is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management.
