Local Students Graduate from Elmhurst University

In an atmosphere that was festive despite gray skies and some afternoon rain, Elmhurst University held its 151st Commencement for the Class of 2022. The following local students earned degrees:

• Lauren Ashley Kuehn, of Northbrook, graduated with a Master of Business Administration.
• Rivak Georgis Martany, of Northbrook, graduated with a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management.
• Garrett S. Cohen, of Northbrook, graduated with a Master of Science in Data Science and Analytics.
• Achlan Bayartsetseg, of Northbrook, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies.

Korol Makes Dean's List At Duke University

Samuel Korol, of Northbrook, was named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Duke University. Korol, a first-year student, is majoring in computer science. To make the Arts & Sciences dean's list, students must rank in the top third of their college.

MSOE Dean's List - Spring Quarter 2022

Milwaukee School of Engineering congratulates students named to the Spring Quarter 2022 Dean's List. Local students include:

• Brandon Lipnitzky, of Northbrook, who is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in User Experience and Communication Design
• Carter Shavitz, of Northbrook, who is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

Undergraduate students who have earned at least 30 credits and have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher (out of 4.0) are on the Dean's List. Students who have maintained a 3.70 or higher receive "high honors."

More than 1700 students were named to Bradley's Dean's List for Spring 2022. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must achieve a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester on a 4.0 scale. Local students include:

Naomi Scholder Named to UVM Dean's List

Naomi Scholder, Health and Society major, has been named to the dean's list for the spring 2022 semester at the University of Vermont. Scholder, from Northbrook, is in the College of Arts and Sciences. To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.
