Rubin Part Of NCAA Tournament Bid for UW-Whitewater Baseball

David Rubin, a native of Northbrook and graduate of Glenbrook North High School, is a member of the 2022 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater baseball team, which will make its 14th straight appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament and host the four-team Whitewater, Wisconsin Regional starting this Friday at Prucha Field at James B. Miller Stadium. Rubin, a senior at UW-Whitewater, is majoring in general management. Rubin is also one of 59 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater student-athletes recognized by the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Interim Chancellor John Chenoweth as 2021-22 Chancellor's Scholar-Athletes Presented by Northwestern Mutual.

Gundeti Graduates From Campbellsville University

Jagruthi Gundeti, of Northbrook, graduated from Campbellsville University. Degrees are conferred to graduates upon completion of all requirements for graduation. Dr. Joseph Hopkins, the 12th president of Campbellsville University, presided over his first commencement asking the 1,593 students who were receiving their degrees "Who's on your journey?" May 6 and 7 in Powell Athletic Center.

Daly Initiated Into Omicron Delta Kappa At Belmont University

Georg'Ann Daly, a native of Northbrook, was recently initiated into the Belmont University Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society. The Society welcomed 1,971 new initiates from 78 universities during April 2022. Students initiated into the Society must be sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate/professional students in the top 35 percent of their class, demonstrate leadership experience in at least one of the five pillars, and embrace the ODK ideals. Fewer than five percent of students on a campus are invited to join each year.

Burow Earns University of Nebraska-Lincoln Degree

Kaden James Burow, of Northbrook, was among 3,523 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during commencement exercises May 13 and 14. Burow earned a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Arts and Sciences.

University of the Cumberlands would like to congratulate Nicole Heinzen, of Northbrook, on their graduation from Cumberlands. Heinzen completed their Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
