Northbrook's Rubin Earns Spot on 2022 UW-Whitewater Baseball Roster

David Rubin, a native of Northbrook and graduate of Glenbrook North High School, will compete for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater baseball team during the 2022 season, which begins this week. Rubin, a senior at UW-Whitewater, is majoring in general management.

Maddie Guest, of Northbrook, performed with Cantala, a Lawrence University women's choir, at the recent American Choral Directors Association's Midwest conference at Chicago's Harris Theatre.

Maddie Guest part of Lawrence's "Moliere Inspired"

Congratulations to Maddie Guest, of Northbrook, for being an important part of the team that staged Lawrence University's Winter Term theatrical production, "Moliere Inspired."
Nearly 40 Lawrence students worked together in the cast and crew in presenting "Moliere Inspired," a production from Lawrence's Department of Theatre Arts in celebration of the French playwright's 400th birthday. It included three one-acts: one by Moliere and two inspired by Moliere. The production also was a celebration of collaborations across academic departments, as well as collaborations between faculty and students.
