Downed Transformers Result In Fire: Village Of Northbrook

NORTHBROOK, IL — Several downed transformers has resulted in a fire Friday morning in the 1100 block of Waukegan Road. The Village of Northbrook said in a social media post at around 10 a.m. that the Northbrook Fire Department and ComEd are responding to the scene. Officials said the fire is contained.

According to ComEd, no additional outages are expected. Traffic delays may occur in the area while repairs are being made.
