Downtown Northbrook Sarpino's Opening Soon
The pizzeria's manager, Tisha Akulich, expects the restaurant to be fully operational by Oct. 1.
Looks like there's going to be a new pie in town. Sarpino's Pizza, , will likely open within the month.
According to the restaurant's manager, Tisha Akulich, a downtown Northbrook Sarpino's could be serving pizza by Monday, Oct. 1. It was originally meant to open in the summer.
"We met a lot of obstacles so it was delayed," Akulich said, though he declined to specify what kept the store from opening sooner.

Akulich said he still needs to finish recruiting, training staff and testing his equipment.
Endurance Retail, which leases the building Sarpino's occupies — the former Northbrook Garage— has secured an agreement to buy parking space from if the restaurant eventually needs it.
