Driver Faces Multiple Alcohol Charges After Traffic Stop: Police

DUI

Paul D. Curry Jr., 52, of the 500 block of Killarney Pass Circle, Mundelein, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content over the legal limit, illegal transportation of alcohol and failure to yield when turning left after a July 9 traffic stop.

Curry was pulled over at about 11:34 p.m. at Dundee Road and Skokie Highway after police claim hie committed a traffic violation. During the stop, officers determined Curry was under the influence and took him into custody.

Curry was released on $1,000 bail, and his court date is Aug. 24.

DUI

Ik Hee Park, 45, of the 1600 block of Silver Pine Drive, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content over the legal limit and two counts of improper lane use after a July 10 traffic stop.

Police pulled over Park at about 2:13 a.m. near Dundee and Waukegan roads after seeing him commit several traffic infractions. Officers then determined Park was under the influence while talking with him at the scene, and he was arrested.

Park was released on $1,000 bail, and his court date is Aug. 19.
