Families can beat the heat – on the ice – at a Customer Appreciation Event at the Northbrook Sports Center on August 25 from 12:30-2pm. The Northbrook Park District will provide free open skating, free use of skates, DJ music, a shoot-the-puck contest, on-ice games (noodle hockey, ice limbo and freeze dance), free demonstrations by talented figure skaters, and healthy refreshments.
Registration is not required, and all ages are welcome. The Sports Center is located at 1730 Pfingsten Road.
