Kindergarten Enrichment Class Now Enrolling

In addition to their popular preschool classes, Northbrook Community Nursery School (2700 Willow Road) is now enrolling incoming kindergartners in their Kindergarten Enrichment Program.

Kindergarten Enrichment is open to all students enrolled in kindergarten for the 2011-12 school year. The class parallels the curriculum of local elementary schools, and reinforces necessary cognitive, social, and creative skills. The class focuses on both academic and social skills including reading, handwriting, math and scientific exploration.  It is taught by NCNS teachers who have a solid background in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  The program is committed to individualized attention, which can be facilitated easily with a low teacher/student ratio.

Classes are held from September through the end of May on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00-11:15 or from 12:45-3:00, with an optional lunch session available from 11:20-12:40.  For more information, or to register, please visit http://www.ncnskids.org/Kindergarten or call 847-272-5430.
