Northbrook Chamber of Commerce Annual Auction and Taste

The Northbrook Chamber's annual Auction and Taste, featuring more than 150 valuable items up for bid alongside a "taste" of more than 19 of the finest North Shore restaurants, will be held on Monday, October 25th at the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel, 933 Skokie Boulevard from 5 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  Auction highlights include:  a Lasik eye surgery package, a White Sox Diamond Suite package, tickets to Chicago Bulls, Blackhawks and Bears games and hard to obtain theatre tickets and golf foursomes.

 Sponsored by Duxler Complete Auto Care, attendees at the festive event will enjoy sampling menu selections from 19 of the finest area restaurants and caterers, including  Allgauers, Di Pescara, Stir Crazy, and the Claim Company and many more along with a beer and wine bar sponsored by Miller Brewing Company and Sycamore Lane Wines.   There will also be a raffle for $500 sponsored by First Bank of Highland Park. 

            Some of the items in the Silent Auction include restaurant certificates and overnight hotel stays, golf packages, gift baskets, jewelry and household items. 

            The event is open to the public (adults only).   Admission is $25 in advance and $35 at the door and includes all food, beverages and an opportunity to participate in the silent and live auction.  Raffle tickets cost $5 apiece or 5 for $20; winners need not be present to win.  Funds raised from the event go to help the Chamber provide low-cost programs and services in support of its members and the community.
