FBI Releases Descriptions For Northbrook Armed Bank Robbery Suspects

Three men brandishing guns robbed a BMO Harris Bank Thursday morning.

NORTHBROOK, IL — Following a Thursday morning armed bank robbery in Northbrook, the FBI has released descriptions of the three suspects. The robbery at BMO Harris Bank, 1136 Willow Road, occurred at around 9:36 a.m.

According to police, the three men entered the business, approached the teller with the guns and demanded money. The men then fled the area in an unknown direction. Police said the amount of money taken is not known at this time.

The descriptions of the three suspects are as follows:

  • Suspect 1 — age 25-30, 6 foot, thin build, black, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jogging pants, black shoes with white accents, blue medical style gloves, and a black balaclava.
  • Suspect 2 — age 25-30, 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10, medium build, white, wearing a red jacket, a black baseball hat, blue jeans, black shoes, a black in color balaclava, and blue medical style gloves.
  • Suspect 3 — age 25-30, 6-foot-1 to 6-foot-3, thin build, black, wearing a black winter jacket with the hood up, black pants, black shoes, and blue medical style gloves.

There were no injuries reported and there is no immediate threat to the public, according to police. The incident is currently being investigated by the Chicago Federal Bureau of Investigation Field Office and the Northbrook Police Department.

Police said there are no photos of the suspects available at this time.
