Foot Pursuit Leads to Retail Theft Arrest at Northbrook Court
Teens reach 80 mph on Willow Road.

BURGLARY TO VEHICLES
A victim in the 1500 block of Lake Cook Road parked his unlocked gray 2016 Hyundai in the mall parking lot on Feb. 22. When the victim returned to his vehicle he discovered his iPad missing from the front passenger seat.

On Feb. 20, police responded to several burglaries to vehicle in the Williamsburg Area. The victims reported various items removed from their unlocked vehicles. Witness reported to police offices observing several male subjects in their late teens acting suspiciously. Reports came in from the 1000 and 1100 blocks of Williamsburg and the 300 block of Red Coach.
SPEEDING 35+ OVER LIMIT

Juan Luis Marban, 19, Highland Park and Miguel Martinez-Melchor, 18, Highwood were charged with speeding in excess of 35 mph over the posted limit at 11:59 p.m. on Feb. 20 at Waukegan and Willow roads. Marban was also charged with having no insurance. Radar indicated both vehicles traveling around 82 mph.
RETAIL THEFT
Tina M. Mosley, 36, South Holland and Regina C. Anderson, 37, Olympia Fields were charged with felony retail theft at 2:01 p.m. on Feb. 21. Officers responded to Northbrook Court for a report of a retail theft in progress. Store security reported two female offenders removing security sensors from merchandise. Responding officers confronted the two offenders as they exited the store and a brief foot chase ensued. Offenders were taken into custody by officers inside the Mall.
BURGLARY TO AUTO
A victim in the 1500 block of Lake Cook Rd. reported offenders stole her black nylon backpack from her unlocked 2009 Volkswagen. The victim became aware of the theft when she was notified by Glenview police three of her credit cards were found in a park in Glenview. In checking she discovered that several of the cards were used to make purchases in area businesses.
