Former Glenbrook North Girls Star Reaches Milestone at Knox College
Jodi Marver reached 1,000 career points with the Prairie Fire.

Former Glenbrook North High School girls basketball player Jodi Marver scored her 1,000th point as a member of the Knox College women’s basketball team during the Prairie Fire’s 105-99 loss to Monmouth College on Wednesday. Marver is only the second Knox women’s basketball player to ever reach to 1,000-point milestone, trailing only Brooke McKinney (1,285 career points) on the school’s all-time scoring list.
A four-year regular in the team’s line-up, Marver became the latest winner of the Prairie Fire Performer of the Week Award following her milestone.
During the week, Marver averaged 19 points, drained seven 3-point baskets and had nine steals in two games. She is averaging team-highs of 18.4 points and 3.6 assists, both of which rank fourth in the Midwest Conference. She’s also shooting 87.3 percent from the free throw line, the second-highest percentage in the league.
