Girls Synchronized Skating Squad Steals Hearts—And The Show

They may be tiny, adorable, elementary school girls, but put them on the ice and they’re an indomitable force.

Despite being in its first season as a team, the ’s Teams Elite junior synchronized skating squad has competed undefeated this year.

The “Dreamers” maintained their unbroken record Sunday, when the girls skated their way to a first place finish before a packed house at the 24th annual Ice Breaker Classic at Park Ridge’s Oakton Arena.

Based at the and coached by Skating Director Laila Schlesinger, the team practices once per week in the afternoons, along with an additional practice from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. each week as competitions near.
