Glen Oaks Sued for Negligence Following Woman's Death
Daughter of the late Vivian Johnson claims the nursing home was negligent.

NORTHBROOK, IL - A Northbrook nursing home is being sued by a woman who claims they are responsible for her mother’s death through negligence.
Tessan Johnson, daughter and independent administrator of the estate of Vivian Johnson, filed the suit earlier this month in Cook County Circuit Court against Glen Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre and Glen Health and Home Management Inc. alleging violations of the Illinois Nursing Home Care Act, according to The Cook County Record.
Vivian Johnson, 55, had been a resident of the facility with intermittent hospitalizations from June of 2013 to June of 2015. According to the suit, she suffered a right humerus fracture and subdural hematoma after a December 2013 fall. That led to her death on June 16, 2015.
