
Michael Oh, the ace pitcher for the Glenbrook North High School baseball team, has signed a national letter of intent to continue his career at the NCAA Division I level at Creighton University in Nebraska.
Oh went 8-2 with a 1.73 earned run average during his junior season last spring, according to the Daily North Shore.
“Michael has got a team-first mentality,” GBN head coach Dom Savino said. “Everyone on the team benefits from that approach. For him to go to a school of Creighton’s caliber says a lot.

Oh struck out 69 batters in 2015, allowing 43 hits and 16 walks over 52 ⅔ innings of work.
