Glenbrook North to Retire Basketball Stars Jerseys
Chris Collins and Jon Scheyer are two of the biggest names in Spartans basketball history.

Glenbrook North High School will retire the jerseys of Chris Collins and Jon Scheyer, two of the biggest names in the history of their boys basketball program, on Friday.
The Northbrook Star reports that the ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. before the Spartans contest against Central Suburban North rival Niles North. Plaques for Collins’ No. 20 and Scheyer’s No. 23 will be hung underneath the gymnasium’s main scoreboard.
Collins, a 1992 graduate of Glenbrook North, went on to play four seasons at Duke, including appearing in one Final Four. In high school, he was selected as Mr. Basketball of Illinois after leading his team to a 27-3 record and the school’s first ever sectional championship.
