GBN Boys Volleyball Takes No. 1 at Brother Rice

After taking second the past two years, 's boys volleyball team dominated the Brother Rice Smack Attack tournament this weekend.

Led by Luke Jacobson with 13 kills, the Spartans defeated Lincoln-Way Saturday 25-22, 27-25, to win the tournament, according to the Northbrook Star.

Kyle Bedford contributed 30 assists, Patrick Bedford had eight kills and Brian O’Keefe made four kills.

The team's next game is Tuesday, May 1, at home against Niles North.
