Group Files Suit To Stop Red Seal Development
Mission Hills M&T Coalition wants plan to construct 137 homes on golf course site stopped.

A Mission Hills group that opposes Provenance, the Red Seal golf course redevelopment plan to construct 137 homes at the site in unincorporated Northbrook, has filed a lawsuit against developer Red Seal Homes and the Cook County Board, which approved the plan in February.

Filed May 7 by Mike Delmore of the Mission Hills M&T Coalition, the suit asks for an injunction against the project, the Northbrook Star reports. The county and Red Seal have a month to respond.

The project has yet to be approved fully by the village, which still needs to approve drainage and other infrastructure details before the project begins - regardless of the outcome of the lawsuit.
