Hit-and-Run Driver Found Stomping on Car: Cops
Police issued several charges to the Chicago man found at a Northbrook gas station.

NORTHBROOK, IL - A man spotted by police jumping on the hood of his car at a gas station last week was charged in connection with a pair of hit-and-run crashes that occurred moments earlier.
According to a police report, Jonathan Johnson, 26, Chicago faces charges of DUI, driving under the influence of drugs, failure to reduce speed and two counts of failure to give aid around 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 4. Johnson is suspected of two hit-and-run crashes, one at Dundee and Waukegan roads and the other in the 3100 block of Willow Rd.
Police say they found Johnson in the parking lot of a gas station at Dundee and Pfingsten Rd. “jumping on the hood of his vehicle.”

“The defendant was attempting to bend the hood of his vehicle back into shape from the rear end collision at Waukegan Rd and Dundee Rd.,” according to police.
