Hit-and-Run DUI Arrest and Morning Auto Burglaries across Northbrook

Police: Thanks to detailed 911 call, Northbrook officers quickly caught a fleeing, intoxicated driver after a reported hit-and-run.

The following information is from the Northbrook Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

THEFT

Sometime between Jan. 1 and Jan. 13, thieves detached and made off with 14-foot snow plow attachment from a Caterpillar tractor parked near the loading dock of the Lowe's location on the 1000 block of Willow Road, according to a complaint. The plow is the property of the service the store employs to remove snow from the store parking lot, costing the business an estimated $6,000.
