Illuminate Northbrook Returns To Light Up Village This Holiday Season
The holiday lights will be turned on Nov. 17 at this family-friendly event in downtown Northbrook.
NORTHBROOK, IL — Though Halloween is the next holiday on the calendar, it's not too early to start thinking about what's next. The Village of Northbrook recently announced the return of its "Illuminate Northbrook" event, scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, in downtown Northbrook.
Billed as a way to "kick off the holiday shopping season," the family-friendly event will include, complimentary hot chocolate and the lights will be turned on at 6 p.m. After the lights get turned on, attendees are encouraged to remain downtown to "enjoy the ambience," while also supporting local businesses by shopping and dining.
There will also be music, popcorn from Sunset Foods' wagon, and 3D glasses that turn the holiday lights into "fun, festive shapes."
