Just Salad Opens New Location In Northbrook

NORTHBROOK, IL — North Shore residents looking for plant-centric meals have a new option. Just Salad, located at 3806 Willow Road, Northbrook, is open, featuring salads, wraps, warm bowls and market plates.

Just Salad serves homemade dressings, prepped-daily produce, chef-designed recipes and fresh ingredients. In an announcement regarding the expansion, the company also pointed to its reusable bowl program, which gives guests a free topping for every reuse.

"This opening plays a major role in Just Salad's continued growth to newly serve the Northbrook and Glenview communities," said Jen Lally, chief marketing officer at Just Salad. "Just Salad is known for its approachable, flavor-packed meals featuring freshly-prepped produce, house-made dressings and high-quality ingredients, and we look forward to being part of the community’s movement towards prioritizing health and sustainability."

Just Salad was founded in 2006 in New York City, where its headquarters are located. The Northbrook restaurant marks the company's 10th in Illinois, joining six in Chicago, as well as the Edens Plaza location in Wilmette.

To mark the opening, Just Salad announced a week of promotions beginning Wednesday, April 8. On Giveback Day, the company said it will donate $1 to Glenview Park Foundation for every in-store purchase. From Thursday, April 9, through Saturday, April 11, the restaurant will offer $5 chef-designed salads, wraps, warm bowls or market plates all day, according to the announcement.

The company also promoted its JS Rewards program for customers who download the Just Salad app. According to the announcement, members can receive free mystery bowl items after each purchase and monthly freebies. The rewards program also includes stamps that can be collected and redeemed for free menu items or discounts.
