Kindergartners Visit Northbrook Fire Station
The Kindergarten Brownie Troop and Meadowbrook School saw a live fire engine as part of a tour.

NORTHBROOK, IL - Members of the Kindergarten Brownie Troop at Meadowbrook School in Northbrook visite one of the village's fire stations recently to meet firefighters and tour the station.
The group met with firefighters at Fire Station 11 on Monday, Jan. 9 and were given a close up view of a fire engine and ambulance and a demonstration about putting on firefighter turnout gear, according to a village memo.
The visit helped earn the troop their "Courage" and "Strength" badges.

The Northbrook Fire Department welcomes community and school groups to schedule tours by contacting the Fire Prevention Bureau at 847-664-4500 between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
