Kooky Spooky Skate Brings Halloween Fun To Northbrook
The Northbrook Park District event is planned for Saturday at the Northbrook Sports Center.

NORTHBROOK, IL — Ice skating is a popular activity locally thanks to the ice at the Northbrook Sports Center. Fall and winter programming through the Northbrook Park District is underway, kicking off with Saturday's Kooky Spooky Skate.
Kids and adults can wear their scariest Halloween costumes to glide on the ice. The event runs from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Admission is $5 for skaters wearing costumes, while those not, can skate for $6 (youth) and $7 (adults).
"As the weather changes, we try to provide fun skating opportunities for families," said Joey Sanchez, Northbrook Sports Center manager. "We love seeing our participants get into the spirit of Halloween and enjoy the holidays on the ice."
