Kraft Heinz Lays Off 700 in Northfield
Cuts come as part of plan to eliminate more than 2,000 jobs in North America.

The cuts will take place immediately, but employees affected are expected to get “generous” severance benefits that will last for at least six months, according to the Chicago Tribune.
H.J. Heinz purchased Kraft Foods in July to form Kraft Heinz, one of the largest food and beverage companies in the world.
