Man Drove Twice the Speed Limit on Willow Road: Cops

NORTHBROOK, IL - A man from Des Plaines was charged this week with driving more than twice the posted speed limit on Willow Road in Northbrook.

Jose O. Herrera, 21 was charged with speeding in excess of 40 mph over posted limit at 9:46 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25 after he was pulled over in the 2500 block of Willow Road, according to a police report.

Police say they clocked Herrera driving his vehicle at 81 miles per hour in a zone where the speed limit is 40.
