Maple School Construction Remains On Track For Fall 2019 Opening
Every Wednesday, the District 30 superintendent tours the site to check on its progress.
From District 30: As anyone driving down Northbrook's Sherman Drive can plainly observe, significant progress continues to be made on the "future innovative, flexible, and state-of-the-art Maple School!"
Like any proud parent, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian Wegley is paying close attention to watching the new Maple School grow and evolve! Since the groundbreaking that took place on April 5, he has been taking Wednesday morning tours to view the building's progress.
"It’s an exciting time in District 30, as construction remains on schedule and within budget. Please follow the progress on the facilities website: http://d30facilities.org. Thanks to the outstanding efforts of ARCON Architects and Nicholas & Associates Construction, District 30 remains on track to occupy the new Maple School in the fall of 2019."

Dr. Wegley also noted that the design and construction effort of the school is being aided by the partnership of the La Salceda del Norte community members, who have allowed the district to utilize their water detention area, Wintrust Bank who has provided office space for the District Office at a discounted rate at Northview Community Bank, and District 225 which has provided contractor parking and supported a needed land swap.
