On March 12th: Concussion 101 Workshop at Five Seasons Northbrook

SportsBrain professionals provide comprehensive baseline concussion testing and concussion management programs

For years, concussions were known in some medical circles as the “silent epidemic.”

But recently, the silence has given way to heightened awareness and on Thursday, March 12th, Five Seasons Family Sports Club in Northbrook will be contributing to the discussion with a free workshop, “Concussion 101,” presented by David Bookstaff of SportsBrain.

From 4 to 7 p.m., he and colleagues will be on hand to share their knowledge with members and guests of the club at 1300 Techny Road. Among the topics they will discuss are the side effects that doctors look for when they suspect a child has suffered a concussion.
