MeadowPark, a new Northbrook office development, opened last week at Techny Road and Founders Drive.

Three of the four buildings that will eventually make up the complex have already been built and include well-known tenants such as the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and Bright Horizons Child Care.

“We are thrilled to welcome MeadowPark and its tenants to the Northbrook community,” said Sandy Frum, Village President of Northbrook. “This high quality office development is a significant private investment that will bring jobs, economic growth and most importantly, provide access to quality services for area families making Northbrook an even better place to live and work.”

“Our vision was to ensure MeadowPark was an office development that tenants would be proud to call home and that area residents would be proud to have in their community,” said Jack McKinney, former president of J.F. McKinney and Associates and currently the vice chairman of Cushman & Wakefield. “Not only is the space well designed and built for quality, but the best part is that the tenants are world class.”

A fourth building is under construction. Here is what the project will include once complete.

· 1101 Techny Road is a 12,600 square foot building leased in its entirety to Bright Horizons, an internationally recognized child development center serving, with this location serving employees at nearby corporate campuses.

· 1131 Techny Road is an 18,000 square foot building leased in its entirety to Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago (formerly Children’s Memorial Hospital).

· 1121 Techny Road is a 16,000 square foot building being developed speculatively for Northbrook office or medical tenants. Spaces are available from 2,000 to 16,000 square feet.

· 1111 Techny will be a 9,000 square foot building to be constructed in 2015 or 2016.
