Memorial Day 2022: Parade Planned For Northbrook
The parade will feature veterans, first responders, essential workers, and local school bands among others.
NORTHBROOK, IL — The Northbrook American Legion Post 791 will be hosting the annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 30.
The parade starts at 10:30 a.m., according to the Village of Northbrook. A new parade route will start at Western Avenue and Cherry Lane, turn right onto Meadow Road, turn left onto Shermer Road, and end at Village Green Park.
The parade will feature veterans, first responders, essential workers, and local school bands among others. Gather at the end of the parade for the national anthem, a welcome from Post 791's Commander, and guest speaker retired Major General James Mukoyama.

The Village is asking residents to "please take a moment to remember the men and women who died serving in the United States Armed Forces, the reason we observe Memorial Day each year.
